Do you ever find yourself struggling with questions like how to sell your art, meet new collectors, or find strategies on how to grow your art business?

Maybe you are interested in working with interior designers or art consultants, but just don’t know how to find them. Are there interior designers and art consultants looking for artists like you to fill their clients’ walls with artwork? The answer is yes. You are not alone: most artists face these issues. Working with Client Raiser will provide you with a simple plan to find the answers and succeed with your art practice.

I started Client Raiser in 2014 to help artists just like you who are struggling to level up their art practice. In that time, I have worked with over 200 artists in 20 states, creating new approaches to reach their goals. Through my years of working and building relationships in the private, nonprofit, and government sectors (including the National Basketball Association, Aspen Skiing Company, and The White House) combined with my deep interest in collecting art and helping artists, I bring a fresh and valuable perspective to each artist that I work with as an artist consultant and artist representative.

More Than Just An Artist Consultant

Matt Storm

“Danielle immediately identified that my practice needed an improved website, (artist) statement, and CV to match my goals.

Not only did our early morning “coffee-and-editing” sessions help me land a string of new shows, but they also pushed me to better understand and articulate my work.

I am very grateful to Danielle for her sharp eye and incisive approach.”

— MATT STORM, Photo-based artist; recipient of awards from Filter Photo and Dartmouth College; leadership for LGBTQ Caucus of Society for Photographic Education

As an artist consultant, I assess the business side of your art practice which includes top-down insight about every aspect of your practice from reviewing all of your marketing materials to analyzing your visibility and sales strategies in order to grow your art business.

It All Starts With The Inventory Assessment

The path to strengthening your art practice begins with taking a deep look at it through Client Raiser’s Inventory Assessment process. This process does not require much of your time and it’s easy to get started:

1.

Schedule an appointment for our one-to-one interview.

2.

Forward your current marketing materials for review.

3.

Participate in a one-on-one interview where we get to know all about you, your artwork, and your goals.

After our interview, I will generate a 25-item assessment identifying which elements you have in place and - more importantly - what you need to do to reach your goals. Next, we’ll have a one-hour debrief meeting to review your results and decide on the specific steps to enhance your art practice. If you would like more assistance (and most artists usually do!) then I can continue serving as your artist consultant to help you navigate the decisions you’ll need to make to move forward. Where this differs from other artist consultants is that Client Raiser focuses on how to improve the elements that you have in place, and what to create to streamline your art practice to allow you more time to produce your art.

Artist Representation Done The Client Raiser Way

At Client Raiser, my primary goal is to help you strengthen the business side of your art practice.

Embracing business fundamentals makes you a better representative of your artwork. Through Client Raiser, I will help you to learn how to work with collectors, gallerists, art consultants, interior designers, and interior architects seeking to buy artwork, and will represent you for opportunities that come my way. This gives you an advantage over artists working with traditional artist consultants, because they tend not to represent their artists in these kinds of opportunities.

Here are a few client success stories to give you an idea of what we can accomplish together:

  • A five-star hotel had a $5,000 budget for a mural. Client Raiser persuaded them to commission two murals for $12,000.

  • I secured a client five commissions in one weekend.

  • A university commissioned three new paintings after I suggested a new social media strategy to an artist client.

Through my breadth of experience in the worlds of business, politics, and art, I bridge gaps that traditional artist representation does not. On one day, I may be working with an individual collector interested in decorating their home or meet with art consultants looking for artists for a corporate client. Art galleries looking for submissions may be in touch to locate an artist working in a specific media, while an interior designer may contact me in search of work within their client’s budget. In all of these situations, if your work fits their needs, I act as your partner in promoting you and your artwork. Most importantly, once you work with Client Raiser, you are always on my roster for potential collaborations.

Meet Your Client Raiser, Danielle Glosser

Danielle Glosser

Danielle Glosser

In 2014, a very accomplished artist that had shown his work in some of our country’s most important institutions approached me. He needed help growing his art practice. Having no prior background in the arts, I leaned on my strategic planning, project management, research, writing, and networking skills to guide him.

My strategic approach paired with an artist’s creativity turned out to be a formula for success.

Soon afterwards, other artists discovered the value in my work and began to solicit my services. I quickly realized that artists need support in understanding and managing the business side of their art practices. That’s how Client Raiser was born. I am proud to have helped more than 200 artists in 20 states by providing a wide range of strategies to level up their art practices. From assisting artists to obtain gallery representation, to museum exhibitions (and even a Pollack Krasner grant!), I have helped numerous artists realize their goals - not to mention the dozens of artworks that I have sold on their behalf as an artist representative.

In 2020, my work with artists led to an invitation to speak at the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden. I was honored to address an audience of collectors, journalists, curators, and artists about the latest and greatest art experiences in the greater Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area. I was also asked to present an online exhibition that I created featuring my Black clients’ artwork for a national program sponsored by ArtTable, the foremost professional organization dedicated to advancing the leadership of women in the visual arts. High-profile gallerists, curators, and art consultants from across the nation took part in the session. In addition, I have been interviewed for numerous podcasts and contributed to several noteworthy blogs including Artwork Archive's where my expertise as an artist consultant and artist representative has been able to reach a wide audience. I also develop and host curated online exhibitions for artists I represent. As much as I enjoyed these opportunities, assisting artists with their goals through my experience and network in the art, political and corporate arenas is at the heart of my practice.

My unique, strategic perspective allows me to help you find solid opportunities to share and sell your artwork. I look forward to adding you to the dynamic roster of Client Raiser’s artist clients, and working with you to create more effective marketing materials and strategies, better equip you to pursue your goals, and add valuable contacts to your network.
